So far, the third international event I’ve worked for. The largest, in terms of delegation. The hardest, in terms of coordination.
Here I was able to work with at least eleven different entities (Post Ad, EON, Stage Craft, Digital Fussion, InfoTxt, PPP, DOT, PSG, SMX, Makati Shang-ri La, TV5). All of which has to be treated tactfully and differently. Some are co-leagues in providing services, some are clients, and some are your subordinates.
Here I was able to handle 700++ delegates. Where more than 100 are VIPs and the rest are some other high ranking officials from all over Asia.
Though my job was not directly in contact with these VIPs, their satisfaction is one my utmost concerns. I have to attend every noise that may interfere the flow of the programme. And with noise I didn’t just mean the one related to sound, I’m talking about all the disturbances.
I hope not to wait too long for my next international event. :D

The guy you can find on locked rooms, silent libraries or some secret hidden place exploring the world of words extracting every detail of his thoughts, feelings and emotions for someone he truly cherished— you.

He’s the guy who seals an envelope with hope and optimism that you’ll read it and eventually take notice of him. Torn with the thoughts of rejection and disapointments, he finds courage with how he thinks he can make you happy— on the little red tiny blushes that shall bloom on your cheeks and your heart-warming smile, something he used to craft love in a letter. Date a guy who can turn a person into words of romance, of devotedness and of passion — you.
But most of all, he’s the one who wishes to bridge his heart to yours with a letter. He’s the guy who uses the power of words to let you feel how he admire and adore everything of you. Read as if you’re in the desert looking for water, in a city full of people or stuck in the middle of a heavy traffic needed to be somewhere. Find ways to decipher and find his inspiration — you.

Nobody reads my post.
And it’s fine. I don’t post to hit thousand likes. Besides, I just babble.
Writing has been way harder now. way back high school, you’re expected to write bunch of articles for your monthly newspaper to be given to all the teachers in your school, you’re expected to top if not win now and then editorial and news competitions, and where you’re expected to release your best entries once a year when you publish your official newspaper. (Well, I believe almost everyone in my university experience this.)
Maybe it’s not that I’ve lost my urge to write, not that I’ve lost my style, nor lost the inspiration to do it, it’s just that i lose my patience to screen all the words, the patience to stitch every thought, and the time to write. I always find myself stacked with so much work that not required writing will be a big waste of time.
I write whenever i want. And i don’t intent it to be read. I just want to write. No expectations.

As always, nakakapanglata ang sumabak sa event. Pero nakakamiss din, before nito Tourism Congress pa yung last, which is nung November 2011 pa. Nakakamiss yung pagod, yung pressure, yung chance na makipag rubbing elbows sa mga VIP, and yung PF!
